Results of an Expert Botox Treatment
Weight loss, facial movements, stressful lifestyle, and sun exposure can damage the youthful glow of your skin and cause wrinkles and fine lines to appear. At Medical Spa of Midland, we help you regain your younger, more beautiful self with expert Botox treatments.
Botox is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure, which can improve the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles. Botox is used to restore your contoured, youthful look and is approved by the FDA. Botox is a commonly used aesthetic treatment that produces minimal side effects.
Botox is one of very few facial rejuvenation procedures that can restore a youthful facial profile with little or no down time. Most patients who receive Botox begin to notice a visible smoothing of crow’s feet and frown lines within 24 to 48 hours of their Botox treatment. Since Botox targets the underlying muscle activity that causes wrinkles, its results last for as long as up to 4 months.
In order to obtain the best results from your Botox treatment, it is important that you work with a Botox specialist who is trained in aesthetics and the anatomy of the skin. At Medical Spa of Midland, we have a team of professionals who have extensive experience of a variety of cosmetic procedures, including Botox.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time (temporary).
BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered by a healthcare professional as a simple, nonsurgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles between the brows. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form between the brows. Individual results may vary.
Post Botox discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Prior to injection, your physician may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream. The entire Botox procedure takes approximately 10 minutes. Most patients are in and out of the physician’s office without downtime following BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment.
Side effects associated with the injection include localized pain, infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, swelling, redness, and/or bleeding/bruising.
