Are you considering a breast enlargement procedure?
A woman’s bosom has long been a symbol of beauty and femininity with the shape, symmetry, and size of the breasts playing a unique role in every woman’s self-perception.
Breast augmentation is about more than simply enlarging the breasts; it is a very effective surgery, suitable for women with insufficiently developed breasts or when the mammary gland system is shedding and the skin is slightly loose, as may be the case after breast feeding or significant weight loss.
The age limit for breast augmentation is generally 18 years, after the mammary glands are fully developed. It is recommended (but not required) that breast augmentation only be performed when a woman does not plan to get pregnant any more, as pregnancy and breast feeding result in changes of volume, producing a negative effect on the outcome of the surgery. Implants will not influence pregnancy in any way and will not expose the fetus to any danger. It should be noted that a number of patients were able to breast-feed normally after a breast augmentation although complications may occur due to insufficient lactation.
In order to minimize possible surgical risks, you will you will be evaluated prior to your surgery to ensure you are healthy enough for the procedure. The evaluation requires a complete history of all medications, health disorders, and allergies. While we cover the entire process in its entirety during your consultations the following is a brief explanation of what to expect during and after your procedure:
